Extended Monster Guitar Version In Harmony

It took awhile especially since our first studio version of In Harmony was released back in October 2022 but the Extended ‘Monster Guitar’ version of our song is finally released on Spotify and other music streaming platforms. This is quite strange since the official music video for this extended version was already released on YouTube back in the fall of 2022 as well. Usually we don’t release the official music videos for our songs until we release the audio versions on music streaming platforms so I guess we released the music video featuring the extended parts of the song prematurely.

But that’s okay as we now have all elements released for this longer In Harmony version with more adventurous guitar work. Some people might ask why we made this longer version of our antiracism/anti-discrimination song in the first place so I’ll try to address that here.

It was always the intention to add some more adventurous lead guitar work with In Harmony as we felt this was quite possible to combine electric lead guitar solos with the Latin rhythm beat background and vibe of the song. Carlos Santana most certainly proved this with his music. In fact, the beginning wavy lead guitar part that starts the extended section where the original studio version of In Harmony finished was totally inspired by Santana’s guitar work in his song Smooth. Once you hear the Extended Monster Guitar version and especially at this section, you will hear the similarities.

As a lead guitar player, one of the most challenging things to do is to play some decent lead guitar solos without losing the audience that likes to dance. We hope that we accomplished this with the Extended Monster Guitar version of In Harmony.

If you have a Spotify account, give it a listen below at the embed which will be at a higher sound quality compared to the music video on YouTube (if you don’t have an account then you will hear only a sample of the song). Other music streaming platforms like Apple Music and Amazon Music should have this extended version as well.

Extended Monster Guitar version of In Harmony

Here are the lyrics to In Harmony again. Don’t forget that there are separate posts with the official lyrics video for the song along with more details about the deeper meanings behind the In Harmony lyrics plus why Clint Cora wrote In Harmony.

In Harmony

The TV news made me feel sad
Once again people hurt real bad
Just because they’re not the same
They don’t deserve all of this pain

Why do we have to hurt each other?
Just because we believe in different ways?
In the end we all really want the same thing
To live in a world we’re free to sing

It’s time to live in harmony
We want to live in harmony
It’s time to live in harmony
We want to live in harmony

Sometimes dark ages still live in us
Still full of hatred and much distrust
Have we as humans evolved at all?
We have to learn or we all will fall

Imagine a world we’re free to choose
Imagine a world we’re free to love
Are you ready to make this dream come real?
Spread this call like birds high above

It’s time to live in harmony
We want to live in harmony
It’s time to live in harmony
We want to live in harmony

Other Versions Of In Harmony By Unity Power Force

In addition to the short and extended Monster Guitar versions of In Harmony, there is also an acoustic guitar unplugged version which is a stripped down one using acoustic instruments and only four singers (Clint, Chantall, Simona, Queenie) from the original seven in the electric versions.

Although it is taking forever, we still have plans to do foreign language versions of In Harmony in French, Spanish, Cantonese and Mandarin.
