Twist To Our TikTok Dance Challenge
A previous post announced the first TikTok style dance challenge using our song In Harmony by our friend Evelyn. Although we’ll see Evelyn doing a total of three different clips of her dance challenge and hopefully see others do the same with In Harmony, I’ve decided to do add in a twist for my own dance challenge – I’m going to dance with my Lhasa Apso dog Roxie. So for the first time ever, I’m going to show a short video of my own TikTok style dance challenge with a dog!
Dance challenges have been extremely popular on the social media platform TikTok. These are clips of people doing a dance and others are invited to copy the dance moves on their own short dance video with the same music. I would like to expand this to encouraging others to do their own version of dance steps to the same music just to see what others come up with but of course it’s dancing with their pets whether dogs, cats or some other pet rather than dancing solo or with some other human.
In my case, I took the chorus of In Harmony and did a short video clip of me dancing with my 17 year old Roxie. Although she fully cooperated with me, I bet she was wondering what her silly Daddy is up to now?
So here’s our silly little dance challenge set to In Harmony for your entertainment.
Invitation For Other Dog Parents To Dance With Their Dogs
So in the spirit of fun in a TikTok style dance challenge, I would like to invite all other pet owners to shoot a quick 15 to 30 second video clip of them dancing with their beloved furry (or non-furry) babies too using the same tune In Harmony. This way at least we have the music consistent and can see how everyone interprets the same part from the same song in a dance with their pets.
There are different ways on doing this. One way for those already on TikTok is to find my clip under the Unity Power Force profile there and use the Duet function which enables you to do a video while playing mine at the same time. This is one way to use the same music as I did.
Another way is to do shoot your own video separately while you do your dance with your dog while listening to the song track at the Unity Power Force page at Spotify as you record your dance. You can also listen to In Harmony at the Spotify embed app below while still on this webpage if you are a Spotify account holder (others will hear only a preview).

It’s not about seeing who does the best dance moves but rather it’s in the spirit of fun and showing the world just how much we love our pets. These dance videos, as long as your pets cooperate with you, will be another moment in time you bonded with your pet that will be captured on video forever.
