Love Has Left Me = Our 1st Love Song Release
Love Has Left Me is our first love song release but it’s not what most people would think about a love song. First, it’s not a slow ballad although we will have one coming in the near future. Instead, this tune is a jazzy pop rock song with a very similar sound as In Harmony except it’s got a jazz flavour rather than a Latin vibe. The electric guitars and keyboards used in this song are similar to those used in In Harmony.
Second, it’s a sad love song, not a happy one. The lyrics are below and we’ll get into them further down the page.
For this song, we used three singers, Clint (me), Chantall and Simona. With three part harmony sections, the three of us filled a huge harmony spectrum similar to what seven singers did for In Harmony. We found that the three of us were enough since we sung on so many different harmony parts.
For those with Spotify accounts, here’s the embed below (non-account holders will hear just a short sample of it).

Lyrics Of Love Has Left Me
As mentioned above, Love Has Left Me is a sad love song rather than a happy one. It’s about a failed relationship but instead of blaming the failure on the other person, it’s about accepting the blame. In this case, we are acknowledging that sometimes in relationships, we caused the end rather than the other person.
It was our fault that the other person left and now we must accept the consequences of the failed relationship and lost love. So this is definitely a love song from a different perspective.
Love Has Left Me
Home doesn’t feel like home
Since the day she left and suddenly walked out on me
She took all of her things
And just left a note for me to see
She wrote that she had enough
Of me and my insensitive ways
I took her too much for granted
And she couldn’t take another day
So love has left me now
By now she’s long long gone
Love has left me now
Where did I go wrong?
Love has left me now
A part of me is gone
Love has left me now
How could I do so wrong?
I sometimes kid myself
And believe that someday we’ll be back together
But deep inside I know
That I really lost her forever
The sun no longer shines
It went down when she chose to set herself free
The birds no longer sing
They don’t even fly by me
